Clematis x jouiniana ‘Mrs Robert Brydon’
Numerous small extremely fragrant flowers of pale mauve smother the handsome, rugged foliage in summer. This is a vigorous, sprawling, non-clinging perennial that looks glorious spilling over a low wall, down a low bank or over tree stumps. Think of it as a groundcover clematis. Also available: the light blue flowered C. jouiniana ‘Praecox’. Both varieties are drought tolerant once established.
