Clematis tangutica Little Lemons is an incredibly dwarf selection of an otherwise quite large species. The stems grow to just 8-12 inches long with a few reaching 20 inches. The small, pendulous, lemon yellow flowers with green central stamens bloom from mid-May to early September and are followed by silky seed heads. Use at the front of the border, in containers, and hanging baskets. Pruning group C. Cultivar name: ‘Zo14100’.
