Clematis ‘Suzy Mac’ is a stunning, super hardy (zone 2!) cultivar with gorgeous overlapping, ruffled purple petals and violet red central bars and purple anthers. The reverse side has white bars. Fragrant too. A heavy and early bloomer starting late spring and continuing to early fall. Flowers can reach 5-8 inches in diameter with a compact climbing habit of 6-8 feet. Pruning group 2. Repeat bloomer.
