Clematis ‘Stand By Me’
'Stand By Me' is a herbaceous bush clematis with blue, bell-shaped flowers followed by creamy thread-like seed heads.

‘Stand By Me’ is a non-twining bush Clematis, not a vine, with beautiful, blue, bell-shaped flowers in early summer reblooming in late summer. The flowers are followed by creamy white, thread-like seed heads. The foliage is also attractive with a bronze shade to the undersides of new foliage. Unlike other clematis, this one is completely herbaceous and dies back to the ground in fall. Use stakes, obelisks or other plants to provide gentle support to keep plants upright or allow them to sprawl into their neighbours. Pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
