Clematis ‘Pernille’ is a cold-hardy, free-flowering, compact climber that we have imported from Europe producing multitudes of outward facing, very showy single white flowers with light purple margins and veining and yellow-purple stamens. The flowers are 3 inches wide and bloom on vines 6-8 feet tall. Deadheading is not necessary but a trim after the first flush will encourage new growth. Adorns walls, trellis or obelisk in the garden and patio with beauty. Belongs to the Viticella group of clematis. Pruning group C3. Hummingbird and pollinator attractor. Deer resistant.
