Clematis Evison ‘Guernsey Flute’
Clematis Evison 'Guernsey Flute' is one of the longest flowering varieties with white flowers that resemble a champagne flute.
Clematis Evison ‘Guernsey Flute’ is one of the longest flowering of all Evison varieties and perhaps the best white cultivar. The elegant, pure white flowers can reach nearly five inches across and cover the plant from the base to the top of the 3-4 feet high stems. The cultivar name refers to the habit of the flowers to begin opening but to pause, for an extended period, half open like a champagne flute. Tolerant of part shade. Pruning group C. Raymond Evison is the world’s most famous Clematis breeder producing superior and distinctive cultivars with long bloom periods, excellent disease resistance, and bold colours. Use them on trellises, pergolas, grow them into shrubs, as ground covers and in patio containers. Pollinator attractor.
