Clematis Evison ‘Filigree’
Clematis Evison 'Filigree' is a dwarf clematis with single and semi-double, lightly ruffled lavender flowers.
Clematis ‘Filigree’ is similar to ‘Bijou’ growing as a low mound with stems growing just 12-24 inches long in low mounds. Exceptionally free-flowering with single to semi-double lavender flowers with ruffled edges and red-brown anthers. Blooms from late spring into summer and likely again in fall. Works well in containers, hanging baskets, and as ground cover. No need to prune or treat as group B. Raymond Evison is the world’s most famous Clematis breeder producing superior and distinctive cultivars with long bloom periods, excellent disease resistance, and bold colours. Use them on trellises and pergolas, grow them into shrubs, or use them as ground covers.
