Clematis ‘Ashva’ is a cold-hardy, compact climber that we have imported from Europe. It produces multitudes of ruffled, violet-purple single flowers with central red bars and yellow stamens all summer long. The flowers are 3-4 inches wide and bloom on vines 5-10 feet tall. Tolerant of partial shade. Use it to adorn walls, trellises or obelisks in the garden and on the patio. Pruning group C3. Hummingbird and pollinator attractor.
