Citrus-Mandarin amblycarpa ‘Nasnaran’

Citrus amblycarpa 'Nasnaran' is a hardy mandarin for the west coast which can withstand at least -12 Celsius.

Citrus amblycarpa ‘Nasnaran’ is a hardy mandarin for the west coast which can withstand at least -12 degrees Celsius, perhaps colder once established and full size, and is hardier than the ‘Owari’ mandarin. The fruit is yellowish orange and tastes like a sour mandarin with hints of lime. While ‘Owari’ might be better for fresh eating, ‘Nasnaran’ will be useful in cocktails and diverse dishes. Grow your own citrus and gain significant bragging rights over your friends when you serve them drinks and dishes made with your own lemons! All of our citrus are grafted onto C-35 citrange, trifoliate orange, or other semi-dwarfing rootstock which confer good hardiness and production while reducing overall tree size.
