Citrus-Lemon limetta ‘Pomona’

Citrus limetta 'Pomona' produces abundant fruits that are greenish-yellow, seedless, low acid, and very juicy.

Citrus limetta ‘Pomona’ is a cross of Citrus medica and Citrus x aurantium. This sweet lemon hybrid produces abundant fruits as big as a lime that are greenish-yellow, seedless, low acid, somewhat sweet, and very juicy. Less thorny than ‘Eureka’ lemon plants. Potentially hardy in coastal BC having survived freezes to -9 degrees Celsius. All of our citrus are grafted onto C-35 citrange, trifoliate orange, or other semi-dwarfing rootstock which confer good hardiness and production while reducing overall tree size.
