Choisya ternata ‘Aztec Pearl’

Choisya ternata is a citrus relative and an aromatic, evergreen shrub from the highlands of Mexico with leaves that are divided into three to five narrow leaflets. The buds are white to pink-flushed opening to fragrant white flowers in late spring and again in late summer. Trim lightly after flowering if needed. ‘Aztec Pearl’ is often noted as a cultivar of C. ternata though it is actually a hybrid between this species and C. arizonica. Good for hedging.
