Ceratostigma plumbaginoides

An unusual but easy ground cover that leafs-out late but then gives a great display in the Autumn with small brilliant blue flowers amongst foliage that gets lovely maroon-red tones as the season progresses. Likes a winter mulch. It gives me a lovely surprise every year when I’ve forgotten its presence! Photo courtesy of Walters Gardens.
