Capsicum annuum Mighty Veggie ‘Red Knight’

Mighty Veggie grafted peppers produce 2-3 times (or more!) fruit than ungrafted plants and are more cold tolerant and disease resistant.

An improved King Arthur type, ‘Red Knight’ is an early-maturing, high quality, blocky bell pepper with a sweet, fruity flavour bred to be eaten red when ripe at 77 days but can also be eaten green at 57 days. Because of its large size, ‘Red Knight’ makes an excellent stuffing and grilling pepper and is also excellent in salads, veggie dishes, and as snacks. Better disease resistance than ‘King Arthur’ and a more compact, open plant. Mighty Veggies grafted vegetables are hand grafted onto super strong rootstock which provides greater disease resistance, greater cold tolerance (so veggies start growing faster in the spring), and great yield. Mighty Veggie grafted plants usually produce 2-3 times more fruit than ungrafted plants, a difference that is especially large for heirloom varieties which do not always offer high yields.
