Capsicum annuum Mighty Veggie ‘California Wonder’

Mighty Veggie grafted peppers produce 2-3 times (or more!) fruit than ungrafted plants and are more cold tolerant and disease resistant.

‘California Wonder’ is considered by many to be the best tasting of the bell peppers. It is an early ripening variety with big, blocky four inch bells with thick, meaty walls with sweet flavour and crunchiness. You can harvest them green at about 65 days or wait until about 75 days for them to turn red. Mighty Veggies grafted vegetables are hand grafted onto super strong rootstock which provides greater disease resistance, greater cold tolerance (so veggies start growing faster in the spring), and great yield. Mighty Veggie grafted plants usually produce 2-3 times more fruit than ungrafted plants, a difference that is especially large for heirloom varieties which do not always offer high yields.
