Capsicum annuum Mighty Veggie ‘Big Bertha’
Mighty Veggie grafted peppers produce 2-3 times (or more!) fruit than ungrafted plants and are more cold tolerant and disease resistant.

‘Big Bertha’ is a delicious elongated bell pepper with fruit that can be seven inches long – the longest of any cultivar! It is thick-walled, crisp, and extremely sweet maturing from dark, shiny green to shiny red. The fruit has few seeds and is produced in large numbers over a long season. Great for stuffing, grilling, fresh eating, and in salads. Harvest green around 60 days and red around 73 days. Mighty Veggies grafted vegetables are hand grafted onto super strong rootstock which provides greater disease resistance, greater cold tolerance (so veggies start growing faster in the spring), and great yield. Mighty Veggie grafted plants usually produce 2-3 times more fruit than ungrafted plants, a difference that is especially large for heirloom varieties which do not always offer high yields.
