The large to very large flowers are produced abundantly in early to mid season. Camellias appreciate rich, acidic, moist, well-draining soils. Use in the light shady garden as an accent or specimen plant, in containers and as cut flowers. Somewhat deer resistant. Plant in a protected location in zone 7.
