Camassia leichtlinii ‘Semiplena’

Camassia leichtlinii 'Semiplena' is a gorgeous double-flowered form of great camas with white flowers.

Camassia leichtlinii ‘Semiplena’ has elegant spires covered with masses of double, star-shaped white flowers with glittering yellow anthers. This is a larger and more stately species than C. quamash. Native from BC to southern California. Camassia grow in winter-wet soils that dry out in summer which means they will be tolerant of clay-heavy garden soils.
