Calochortus ‘Cupido’
Calochortus 'Cupido' is a lovely little flower named for a butterfly, offering cup shaped, violet pink blossoms in June.

Calochortus means “beautiful grass” in Greek while the mariposa of its common name means butterfly. Mostly native to California, Calochortus enjoy moist winters and dry summers. ‘Cupido’ has delicate cup-shaped, violet-pink flowers held on strong but wiry stems. Grow them through low groundcovers at the front of the border or in the rock garden.
