Callicarpa ‘Purple Giant’
Callicarpa 'Purple Giant' is said to have the most berries of any beauty berry. Shiny, plump and lusciously warm purple in colour.

Callicarpa ‘Purple Giant’ is said to have the most berries of any beauty berry. This attractive deciduous shrub makes a nice backdrop in spring and summer and provides support for short-growing vines like Clematis or climbing nasturtium. The small lavender flowers are cute but not super showy. Then the plump berries arrive. They festoon the branches in tight clusters of shiny warm purple and provide interest through fall into winter. Plants may die back to the ground in some zone 5 winters.
