Calanthe Takane Hybrids

Warm pastel colours with contrasting lips on this beautiful, hardy, terrestrial orchid.

The Takane Hybrids are crosses between C. sieboldii and C. discolor, producing a range of pastel shades, mostly pale yellows and creams with contrasting lips and petals. Virus-free plants from flasked seedlings. Vigorous blooming size plants. Calanthes are hardy terrestrial orchids for classic shade garden conditions. They are relatively easy to grow in rich, well-drained soils in part shade.
