Buphthalmum salicifolium

Mention this plant to garden designer and former owner of Phoenix Perennials Clare Philips and you better stand back. She can’t say enough good things about this under-used aster relative. The bright yellow daisies are held in masses on fine erect stems from good low clumps of dark green foliage. Oh, and it blooms from late spring until frost! You gotta love that!
