Brunnera macrophylla

Brunnera macrophylla, the Siberian bugloss, is a shade classic with heart-shaped leaves and true blue flowers.

Brunnera macrophylla, the Siberian bugloss, has large, mid to dark green, heart-shaped leaves topped with long-lasting, vivid blue, forget-me-not flowers in spring often tinted with a hint of pink or lavender. A beauty for the shade garden or woodland walk. The most famous cultivar, ‘Jack Frost’, has silvered foliage but the species offers a quieter study in texture and shape.
