Bletilla striata ‘Albostriata’

Bletilla striata 'Albostriata' has variegated foliage with creamy white edges. Flowers are magenta pink.

Bletilla striata is an easy terrestrial orchid native to China and Japan. ‘Albostriata’ has pink-purple cattleya-like flowers in groups of three to seven on stems rising to 18 inches tall. The leaves are arching and broad with creamy variegated edges. Best in part shade in evenly moist, well-drained soil.
