Bignonia capreolata or crossvine is a North American relative of the better-known Asian Campsis or trumpet vine. It is a large vine attaching with tendrils that offers subtropical flare with its large, fragrant, trumpet-shaped flowers in fiery colours in early to mid summer. ‘Dragon Lady’ has burgundy-red flowers with yellow throats.
