The young foliage of Astrantia major ‘Sunningdale Variegated’ arises with a rich tapestry of gold and creamy yellow variegation which is strongest when plants are in part sun. Very slowly the foliage turns to green and by summer is topped with masses of creamy white flowers with a tinge of pink. An excellent cultivar for both flower and folial interest. Masterworts are easy to grow in part shade to full sun.
