Astrantia major ‘Masterpiece’ has beautifully variegated foliage of bluish green with lime green centres. In early summer it is topped by masses of light pink flowers. An excellent cultivar for both flower and folial interest. Masterworts bloom for months on end and are incredibly valuable for a range of light conditions from part shade to full sun. The detailing in their pincushion-like flowers with their subtending involucral bracts is intricate and beautiful. Pollinator attractor, especially bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant.
