Astrantia major ‘Cersie Button’ is a masterwort with upright, clump-forming dark green, serrated, palmate foliage topped with branching stems of flowering umbels in a gorgeous cerise reddish-pink colour. Masterworts bloom for months on end and are incredibly valuable for a range of light conditions from part shade to full sun. The detailing in their pincushion-like flowers with their subtending involucral bracts are intricate and beautiful. Great in the cottage, informal, coastal and pollinator gardens and in the vase.
