Astrantia ‘Bloody Mary’

The name says it all: blood red flowers are held on dark stems above glossy dark green foliage. Astrantias are simultaneously subtle yet showy owing to the fine texture of their multiple florets, the colours provided by their subtending bracts and their strength in numbers as they are produced in good quantities on mature plants. ‘Bloody Mary’s’ effect is particularly bold.
