Astilbe simplicifolia ‘Key West’

'Key West' is a great foliage Astilbe with dark burgundy foliage and carmine-pink flowers that bloom twice a year.

A great foliage Astilbe with dark burgundy foliage especially when grown in sun (with good moisture). Add to this shimmering carmine-pink flowers on a profusion of flowering stems more numerous than most other cultivars. ‘Key West’ also blooms twice in a season: once in summer and once late in the season. At only 20 inches this cultivar is great for pots and near the front of the border. Shade to part sun.
