Astilbe ‘Amber Moon’
'Amber Moon' is a gold-leaved Astilbe with spires of pink flowers in summer.

Astilbe ‘Amber Moon’ is a false spiraea with a difference. It emerges bright chartreuse yellow in spring with highlights of red in the newest leaves. The foliage slowly darkens to a light green by late summer. Tall red stems carry rose pink flowers in summer. This is a fine part sun to part shade plant that provides great interest even when not in flower. Appreciates even moisture.
