Asplenium (phyllitis) scolopendrium ‘Furcata’, is split crest Hart’s tongue fern. Makes for an alien and captivating specimen with the tips of the fronds split forming a Y-shape that is also crested with an attractive petticoat with lower edges lightly ruffled. The fronds are roughly oriented in a vase shape making this a great architectural plant for the front of shade border which contrasts well in form with other shade perennials. Growth habit is 10 inches tall with a 15 inch spread. Deer resistant.
