Asimina triloba ‘Rebecca’s Gold’ produces, large, high quality, very sweet and richly flavoured fruit with yellow flesh. It ripens in October in Oregon so a bit later than that for us on the West Coast. Paw paw is an intriguing eastern North American (including southern Ontario) understorey tree with large, beautiful, subtropical foliage, red flowers and sweet, custardy fruits with a unique flavour like banana, mango and cantaloupe! All plants will produce fruit but you need two different plants for cross pollination.
