Artemisia abrotanum ‘Leprechaun’
Artemisia abrotanum 'Leprechaun' is a super hardy ancient garden plant with great foliage texture and fragrance like Coca Cola!
Southernwood (Artemisia abrotanum) is a totally forgotten ancient garden herb with superb fine-textured aromatic foliage that provides excellent texture all year long PLUS a fruity camphor-like fragrance to the leaves that is reminiscent of Coca Cola! ‘Leprechaun’ is a more compact, mounding selection growing 24-36 inches high and wide. Plant as an informal, aromatic hedge or specimen to brush past in the garden or pots. Trim hard in late winter to maintain a bushy habit. Yellowish insignificant flowers can be removed or left on the plant. Deer and rabbit resistant.
