The plant itself is large with shiny, dark leaves and insignificant white flowers that appear in summer. This is an extremely vigorous plant that appreciates a quiet, sunny corner where its spreading habit won’t crowd out other plants. As a herbaceous perennial, the foliage will die back and return in the following spring.
