Aquilegia chrysantha ‘Denver Gold’ is one of the showiest of the North American columbines with large, over 3 inch wide, golden-yellow flowers with long elegant curved spurs on vigorous erect plants reaching from 24 to 36 inches tall with a 15 to 20 inch spread. Tough and mildew resistant, more tolerant of sun, heat and dry shade. Dead-head to encourage re-blooming. Plant en-mass in the border. Pollinator attractor. Not deer resistant.
