Anemonella thalictroides ‘Shiozaki’

Anemonella 'Shiozaki' is a spring jewel that blooms for months on end with larger, lighter pink flowers than 'Shoaf's Double Pink'.

Anemonella thalictroides ‘Shiozaki’ is a double-flowered form of the eastern North American native rue anemone with exquisite, fully double, shell pink flowers that are larger than ‘Shoaf’s Double Pink’ and a lighter pink. One of the most beautiful spring flowers – a little jewel in the spring garden. Bloom time can last for months — since the reproductive structures have become petals the flowers cannot be pollinated. Without pollination there is no signal for flowering to stop and petals to fall. That’s convenient! Easy to grow in gritty, well-drained soil. Plants go dormant by summer.
