Anemonella thalictroides ‘Kikuzaki White’

Anemonella 'Kikuzaki White' has exquisite, pure white, double flowers set off by delicate yellow stamens.

Anemonella thalictroides ‘Kikuzaki White’ is a double-flowered form of the eastern North American native rue anemone with exquisite, pure white flowers set off by delicate yellow stamens. One of the most beautiful spring flowers – a little jewel in the spring garden. Bloom time can last for months — since the reproductive structures have become petals the flowers cannot be pollinated. Without pollination there is no signal for flowering to stop and petals to fall. That’s convenient! Easy to grow in gritty, well-drained soil. Plants go dormant by summer.
