Anemone x hybrida ‘Honorine Jobert’

 

Believed to have arisen from crosses between two Chinese species A. hupehensis and A. vitifolia, this popular garden perennial has long been grown in Japan. Tall stems from two to four feet hold aloft masses of pure white flowers with bright yellow centres in fall.
