‘Whirlwind’ is an award winning hybrid anemone that offers exception pure white, semi-double flowers up to 4 inches wide that are lightly ruffled and crowned with golden stamens. A taller variety that sways gently in the breeze on its 3 to 4 feet tall stems with a compact, neat, mounding habit and dark green foliage. Perfect for the mid to back of the border and in the vase. Blooms from July to frost making it a staple for the late season garden. Foliage is a great cover for spring bulbs. Prefers humus rich, moist soil in part sun. Deer and rabbit resistant.
