Anemone nemorosa ‘Royal Blue’

Anemone nemorosa 'Royal Blue' has some of the bluest flowers of the wood anemones.

Anemone nemorosa is a charming woodland groundcover that produces cute little one inch wide flowers in early spring above nicely dissected foliage. ‘Royal Blue’ has some of the bluest flowers of the wood anemones. Known as wood anemone or windflower, plant them around dark flowered hellebores to help show them off against the dark soil or as an ephemeral groundcover beneath deciduous trees and shrubs. They will go dormant in mid to late summer.
