Anemone nemorosa ‘Green Fingers’
Anemone nemorosa 'Green Fingers' is a crazy white-flowered cultivar with leafy, green, finger-like growths emerging from the centre of each flower.
Anemone nemorosa is a charming woodland groundcover that produces cute little one inch wide flowers in early spring above nicely dissected foliage. ‘Green Fingers’ is a crazy white-flowered cultivar with leafy, green, finger-like growths and occasional miniature white petals emerging along with the yellow stamens at the centre of each flower. Known as wood anemone or windflower, plant them around dark flowered hellebores to help show them off against the dark soil or as an ephemeral groundcover beneath deciduous trees and shrubs. They will go dormant in mid to late summer.
