Ananas comosus ‘White Jade’

Ananas comosus 'White Jade' is an edible pineapple with evergreen foliage and delicious white fruit.

Ananas comosus ‘White Jade’ is a Hawaiian cultivar said to be the sweetest of all pineapples and low in acidity. Long lance-shaped sturdy green foliage is formed in rosettes surrounding the crown that rises up from the centre with yellow hi-lights. Spectacular on its own and/or harvest for its delicious white flesh, even the core is edible. High in flavor and spineless. Drought tolerant once established. Plant in containers on your patio or garden. Shelter from our winter colds.
