Amsonia tabernaemontana ‘Storm Cloud’

Amsonia 'Storm Cloud' displays star-like periwinkle blue flowers above silver veined foliage on dramatic near-black stems.

Amsonia ‘Storm Cloud’ is an exciting new variety of blue star. The new stems emerge near-black with leaves that are very dark green with silver veins. The stems stay dark throughout the spring to hold the masses of light periwinkle blue, star-shaped flowers. Though the main bloom is in late spring, ‘Storm Cloud’ often reblooms for many weeks afterward.
