Amsonia ciliata ‘Spring Sky’

Blue stars are North American natives with handsome glossy foliage and star-shaped blue flowers. A. ciliata ‘Spring Sky’ has delicate, light blue flowers borne on termanl clusters atop erect stems. The flowers are larger and more prominent, fully opened and last longer than the straight species. Valued for its golden yellow to bronze fall colour. Deer resistant. The related A. hubrichtii was selected by the Perennial Plant Association as Perennial Plant of the Year 2011.
