Alstroemeria ‘Summer Sky’

Alstroemeria 'Summer Sky' is a cold-hardy Peruvian lily with white petals and yellow throats on tall stems.

Alstroemeria ‘Summer Sky’ is a tall cold hardy Peruvian lily to zone 6. Beautiful white flowers with bright yellow throats and dark markings are held stems up to 36 inches tall blooming continuously from early summer to frost. Plants will be clumping or with clumps slowly expanding but will not be invasive. Pull stems instead of cutting to encourage a quicker reflush. Wonderful in the mixed border, in containers, and long lasting in vases. Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant. In colder zones, mulch clumps with a foot of fallen leaves or grow in pots and protect in a frost-free location for winter.
