Alstroemeria ‘Summer Break’
Alstroemeria 'Summer Break' is a cold hardy Peruvian lily with pink petals, white throats and burgundy markings on extra tall stems.
Alstroemeria ‘Summer Break’ is a cold hardy Peruvian lily able to withstand zone 6. Beautiful ivory-white petals are flushed at the edges with glowing pink and marked with dark burgundy flecks on extra tall stems up to 42 inches tall! Plants will bloom continuously from early summer to frost. They will be clumping or with clumps slowly expanding but will not be invasive. Pull stems instead of cutting to encourage a quicker reflush. Wonderful in the mixed border, in containers, and long lasting in vases. Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant. In colder zones, mulch clumps with a foot of fallen leaves or grow in pots and protect in a frost-free location for winter.
