Alstroemeria ‘Little Miss Zoe’

Alstroemeria 'Little Miss Zoe' displays red flowers flushed with yellow in the throat and lovely variegated leaves.

Alstroemeria ‘Little Miss Zoe’ is a long-blooming Peruvian lily with fiery red flowers that have a flush of yellow in the throat. It has the added attraction of variegated foliage with creamy white centres that streak into the green margins. Looks great all spring up until the blooms start in June continuing all the way to frost. Modern cultivars are mainly clumping to slowly spreading but will not be invasive. Wonderful in the mixed border, in containers, and long lasting in vases. Pull stems instead of cutting to encourage a quicker reflush. In colder zones, mulch clumps with a foot of fallen leaves or grow in pots and protect in a frost-free location for winter. Attracts pollinators. Deer resistant.
