Alstroemeria ‘Glory of the Andes’
My grandmother loved alstroemerias for their beauty, their fragrance and for their longevity as a cut flower. Her Scottish heart loved good value! This cultivar offers fragrant golden-yellow flowers with mahogany markings and variegated leaves. Best in rich, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. In cooler regions mulch for winter. While vigorous and floriferous this cultivar is not invasive like other alstroemerias.
