Alocasia reginula ‘Black Velvet’
Alocasia reginula 'Black Velvet' is a compact and miniature jewel with dramatic dark foliage and striking white veins.

Alocasia reginula ‘Black Velvet’ is a miniature jewel alocasia. Its very name literally means ‘little queen’ and for good reason. A very versatile and dramatic tropical plant due to its compact growth habit to just 10-15 inches tall and striking dark foliage with contrasting, piercing white veins. Perfect for indoor applications. Provide dappled sunlight or bright spots with lots of indirect light. Needs fast-draining soil as roots are prone to rot. Water only when soil is dry to the touch, however, the foliage appreciates 50% or more humidity.
