Allium senescens ‘Blue Eddy’

Allium 'Blue Eddy' has twisty and twirly bluish foliage topped in late summer with lavender pink spheres. A great ornamental onion for the sun garden.

Ornamental onions offer intriguing spherical or egg-shaped inflorescences comprised of hundreds of tiny flowers. Allium ‘Blue Eddy’ has really attractive mounds of twisted, linear, bluish foliage that seem to swirl and twirl and spin. The lilac pink, spherical flower heads appear in late summer and bloom into fall. A distinctive and interesting ornamental plant in both flower and foliage for the front of the border or rock gardens.
